Bharat (Bert) Thakkar
Thakkar Analytical Services, Sarnia, Ontario, Canada

Bharat is the owner of Thakkar Analytical Services and Consulting - established August, 2017. He holds a degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Technology from University of Western Ontario and Lambton College respectively. He retired from Imperial oil Research Sarnia after 40 years of service in 2017. During his time at Imperil Oil he worked in several areas of Petroleum Research including  Analytical, Environment, Crude Assay, Fuel Testing, Used Oil Lab and Refinery Quality Assurance services. He has developed expertise throughout refinery processes with focus on physical testing like titrations, volatility and viscosity. His experience also includes Liquid and Gas Chromatography, Spectroscopy  and Distillation.

Michelle Salisbury
Applications Manager for Hanna Instruments

Michelle is the Applications Manager at Hanna. Based at our headquarters in Smithfield, RI, she leads the Applications team, which provides technical expertise for our customers. Michelle has a BS in Environmental Science and Management from URI. Michelle has been with Hanna for eight years, and can help across all of Hanna's full range of analytical instrumentation.
